Duncan More manages the Ramsbury Estates Ltd in Wiltshire, England. The farm is set in the rolling Wiltshire countryside, where soil conditions can be challenging, and deploys two LEXION 8800 combine harvesters. "I like to see that everything is always done properly. It's important for us to achieve a good balance between farming and protecting the environment," explains Duncan More. The farm has been involved in environmental schemes for a number of years. They are currently in the Countryside Stewardship Scheme, which promotes the creation of wildlife habitats. Ramsbury Estates also puts sustainability at the heart of the 2,400 hectares of arable land. As well as barley, oilseed rape, rye, wheat and beans, they grow a variety of cover and companion crops.
