Forage harvesters

High throughput, chop quality, comfort, convenience and efficiency:

CLAAS forage harvesters.

* On the basis of average global deliveries of all self-propelled forage harvesters.

Forage harvesters are essential when it comes to producing quality silage. CLAAS forage harvesters have been synonymous with excellent forage quality since 1973 – and are continuously being developed and refined. The line-up extends from the JAGUAR 900, with a working width of up to 30 foot (9.00 m), up to our most capable forage harvester ever, the JAGUAR 1000 with up to 1,110 hp.

Today, the JAGUAR forage harvester series is appreciated around the world for its high throughput, chop quality, comfort, convenience and efficiency, as it produces top-quality forage. Continuous improvement of the proven CLAAS technology in our JAGUAR forage harvesters is the key to this sustained success.

The JAGUAR from CLAAS.

A number of different front attachments and corncrackers are available to allow the JAGUAR series to adapt to any forage harvesting scenario. Common to all CLAAS forage harvesters is the combination of experience and innovation which they embody. And: the valuable feedback from CLAAS customers, which is incorporated in the ongoing development of the machines. The optimized crop flow, the direct drive system and the practical assistance systems make JAGUAR forage harvesters the first choice.

In launching the JAGUAR 1000 series, CLAAS is presenting not just a new top-of-the-range model, but also the company’s most capable forage harvester ever. New front attachments, with a wider crop feed and the new, larger crop flow channel of the JAGUAR 1000 increase the throughput capacity by up to 20%.* Now enlarged, the feeder unit, with fully hydraulic pre-compression, enables an even crop flow in all harvesting conditions, while the new 36 inch (910 mm) wide V-FLEX chopping cylinder delivers extremely uniform chop quality. Whatever the harvesting conditions, we have the right JAGUAR for them.

JAGUAR 1000
For the upper performance range. The crop flow system, whose capacity is matched to the engine output, features fully hydraulic precompression, a 910 mm wide V-FLEX chopping cylinder and MULTI CROP CRACKER XL rollers with a diameter of up to 310 mm. This system enables optimal kernel cracking and delivers uniform chopped material at high throughput.

Our front attachments.

Ever-increasing yields and more powerful forage harvesters make sense only if the crop can be collected cleanly and the technology is both robust and very easy to operate. The PICK UP front attachments meet these requirements, with a wealth of features. Another model series that allows you to simply hitch it up and benefit from flawless harvesting is the DIRECT DISC, which impresses with its large intake auger and excellent throughput. Equally recommended is the ORBIS corn front attachment, which adapts to the ground contours optimally and makes it possible to attain stubble heights down to 3 inch 80 mm with AUTO CONTOUR.
